Plan and billing questions
Is Free a trial?
No. Signed-in Free uploads have no expiry by default, subject to plan allowances. Signed-out uploads expire after one hour. Sign in before expiry to keep them online.
What happens if I use all my monthly transfer?
Monthly transfer includes files, viewer assets, and generated previews. Flat pauses new content requests until your allowance resets or an upgrade provides enough transfer. Your files stay stored. Flat does not charge automatic overages.
How do upload and preview limits work?
Upload size means the combined size of all files in one upload. Larger hosting allowances do not increase preview or conversion limits. See preview limits.
Is domain registration included?
No. You supply your own custom domain; registration costs are separate. See domain setup.
Are allowances shared across Organizations?
No. Each Organization has its own plan. Members of that Organization share its allowances.
How do I set named addresses, passwords, or expiry?
Named addresses and access settings use the CLI or API. See publishing options.
What happens if I downgrade?
Existing content stays stored. If it exceeds the new storage allowance, new uploads stop until usage fits. Existing Custom Domains keep serving, but additions and changes require a paid plan with enough capacity. Monthly transfer limits still apply.
Where do I manage my subscription?
Open billing in your dashboard to choose a plan or manage your subscription, payment details, and invoices.
