Free limits and paid plans

Flat plans

Free includes 5 MiB per upload, 1 GiB of storage, and 5 GiB of monthly transfer. Signed-in uploads have no set expiry. Visitor passwords and named onflat.page addresses are included.

Starter is €9 a month for 100 MiB per upload, 50 GiB of storage, 100 GiB of monthly transfer, and 1 custom domain.

Free includes 20 publishes per month, 500 KB per page, and 14-day retention. Passwords, custom URL slugs, and REST API, MCP, and skill access are included.

ShipPage describes Pro as in development and free during beta, with no paid price announced. It lists permanent pages, larger limits, custom domains, badge removal, and analytics for that upcoming tier.

Save the HTML and its assets

Take the HTML you send to ShipPage and save it as index.html in a local folder. Include any local images, styles, or downloads, and check their relative paths.

With Node.js 20 or newer, sign in and publish that folder. Replace ./site with your folder path.

Check the new link before sharing

Open the returned link and check images, downloads, and page interactions. Recreate any visitor password through Flat's CLI or API. ShipPage's API key and page settings do not transfer.

Each Flat upload gets a new version link. For updates at one address, choose a named onflat.page address or connect your own domain through the CLI or API.

Before you switch

Can I keep my shippage.ai URL?

No. Your ShipPage URL stays with ShipPage. Publish a copy to Flat, then replace the old link wherever you shared it. You can use a named Flat address or a domain you own for future updates.

Can I publish Markdown as a formatted page?

For Flat, convert it to HTML first, then upload it as index.html. ShipPage's skill and MCP server handle that conversion for you. Flat shows an uploaded .md file as source text. See Markdown hosting for that workflow.

Does Flat create the page for my agent?

No. Your agent or editor creates the HTML. Flat hosts the finished files and runs no backend code. Forms and server-side features need a separate service.

Will my page stay private if I leave its URL unlisted?

Anyone who has a public Flat link can open or forward it. Set a visitor password through the CLI or API if you need to restrict access. The browser uploader creates public links.
